Imagine a new park where people can thrive alongside healthy, protected habitats in Saugatuck Township.
The Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund board has recommended a $2.46 million grant to support Saugatuck Township’s acquisition of 119 acres of land along the Kalamazoo River so it can become a public park—contingent on support from the local community. Eighty percent of the needed support is committed, but we need your help to raise the last 20 percent.
The family of a local resident committed to the stewardship of our natural lands has generously agreed to provide a match to increase the impact of donations to Riverside Park. The Land Conservancy of West Michigan seeks your help to raise $200,000 to cross the finish line and make Riverside Park a reality.
Riverside Park needs you! Will you join us and invest in a park for the human and natural communities of Saugatuck Township?
